Lycoming County Clean Water Action Plan Forms Community Partnership | Local

Williamsport-Lycoming County, Pa., Will announce its final water purification action plan at the commissioner’s public meeting at 10 a.m. on October 9. The Lycoming County Planning and Community Development Department and a central team led by the Lycoming County Conservation Area coordinated the planning process. The team will continue to work to coordinate the implementation of the plan.

The aim of the CAP is to reduce nutrient pollution in local waterways, improve natural resources, support farmers, protect local health and water supplies, and strengthen programs to reduce local flooding.
